Naoshi Ikeda, Professor of graduate school of natural science and technology, Okayama university. He earned a B.S. degree from Waseda University in 1985 and a D.Sc. degree from Waseda University in 1995. Then he moved to a researcher position in Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute, SPring-8. He is an expert of the synchrotron radiation diffraction experiment in the field of material science of strongly correlated electron system. The diffraction experiment relating to the orbital ordered phase of some transition metal oxides and the electronic ferroelectric material is the covered area.
